Jon Tenuta

I can't take anymore of this cushion defense garbage. Zero balls. Roof is like the antithesis of Paul Johnson football.

Roof had a loaded box on the final drive. If anything, it would have been good for him to be less aggressive and play man coverage.

Or raped by short passing Mountain West offenses on a blue field....which was probably named after Tenuta for how many times we played there during his tenure.

I could probably stomach the Tenuta worship more if Don Lindsey and George O'leary hadn't been clearly superior DC's to him.

Matt Ryan set Tenuta on fire and then pissed on his ashes

Yes, I still vividly remember that crapfest Tenuta's defense put on that night. I also remember Tenuta's choke fest the night we played Va Tech the first time at Grant Field as a ACC foe. Man I was pissed leaving that stadium and getting heckled by the Hokies.

It was both the O and D's fault. The D playing this soft zone kills me. I'd rather play tight man and give up the big plays and have time to get the ball back and do something than let them do what they did that last drive. I really don't know what happened to the offense in the second half. We usually do better with half time adjustments but maybe Richt outsmarted our offense, I couldn't see what the problem was other than they were whooping us and we couldn't get them blocked wide anymore.

The fond memories of Tenuta are hilarious. We had some good defenses under him, but we also had some major D failures.
Which games? Matt Ryan #3 pick in draft and MVP qb torching us comes to mind.

Remember that time he gave up 9 points to Wake? Bastard.

Or how about 51 to UGA? How exactly does one do this?

He might or might not be an improvement over Roof... but it was established long ago that he and CPJ wouldn't work well together. Time to let this ex-GF go.

Are we still talking about the game that BC scored 24 points on us? That was clearly the low point of GT defenses.
