Joshua Nesbitt and Andrew Gardner in the GT HoF

Well deserved, Nesbitt was one of my favorite players to watch in any sport.

There's also a big lol in the HoF list that will get some people riled up...
Both football players well deserved. I agree that it's hard to see CPH as a GT hall of famer, although hard to argue against the coach who provided GT's 1 and only MBB championship game appearance. And in fairness, which of us would have rejected the offer of a lifetime contract? It's not his fault our AD was stupid. Maybe it is his fault he fell off as a coach but that is generally what happens to coaches, time passes them by.

Awesome for Nesbitt and Gardner, both were tremendous players here.

Don’t think Hewitt is an LOL pick. He went to 5 tourneys in 10 years. Took us to the National Championship and recruited some of the best players we’ve ever seen at Georgia Tech. Hes the second best coach in the program’s 100 or so year history. I’m sure anyone would sign up for the next hoops coach if he guaranteed Hewitt level success.

That is true, but that's partly because his poor performance coupled with the huge buyout crippled our program and we still haven't recovered.

There's an argument for him to be in our HoF but I don't think the matter is as simple as looking at the number of tourney appearances under him and after.

JfN, on the other hand, is the epitome of a GT HoFer. Will never forget being in the stands when he took the ball back from FSU. What a play, and what a player.

Performance didn’t cripple the program. We were in the tourney the year before he left and regularly recruiting and churning out NBA players.

His buyout hurt for sure, but that was an administrative mistake — and shouldn’t hurt his resume as a coach. Hiring Gregory and Pastner were administrative mistakes as well, and have deteriorated our BBall brand which was a destination for top talent under cremins and hewitt.

100% agree of Nesbitt.

I’m interested as to if Justin Thomas gets in. While he seems like a lock, I read in the past that he doesn’t meet the criteria. If true, I hope we make an exception.

What would be that criteria he doesn't meet?

I think before Josh score against WF on the first down play - he gutted out a fourth down play to set it up.
Maybe I am misremembering though.

Yep, 4th down conversion when we could have kicked a field goal to tie.
