DJ went in the 6th. Corners are more sought after than safeties as well. Either way, I think at least 2 of ours DBs will make a roster at some point. NFL is always looking for young athletes for special teams and they all have decent size/speed

I think we all had higher hopes for him after the outstanding freshman year but he still has an opportunity to step it up for the NFL.

His combine numbers, except for 40 time, should help him in potentially being an undrafted free agent. From there, he'll either get cut or assigned to a practice squad. That's my prediction.

So far, yes. Tariq killed it at the Senior Bowl. He made himself a pile of cash. He didn't make the initial cut of invites to the Combine, but I'm hoping that when others drop he'll get the call.

I think he’ll be a special teams guy somewhere, maybe get a few snaps on a low level defense, maybe start a few games because the starter gets injured.

I saw a tweet where he was the third fastest safety, which would put him at the top end of LB speed no doubt.

From what I've read about the SB, he looked the part, played with an edge, and looked natural doing it.

Yea. These guys can play, and they are big and fast. Hell we saw that here in 2018 and 2019. Our defensive scheme/coaching/prep/gameday adjustments have just been that bad.
