What'd you expect? You're seeing a bunch of guys that haven't had anyone teaching them football except for the previous 11 months.
Your butthurt level is insane. It’s a fact that many players played extremely well under PJ. A few (even some linemen!) learned enough to start earning a paycheck on Sundays.
If you feel like you didn’t learn anything playing under PJ, I’m not saying you’re wrong. However, if that’s true, given the other facts, one really can’t come to any other conclusion that _you_ were the problem, not the coaches.
Buddy, you can play well without having learned a thing from a coach that never put his hand in the dirt.
Quite a few assumptions to make on your other parts that really don't jive with the truth. I don't see what's so hard about taking what I say at face value unless you're a troll or maybe a sycophant. I'm not lying or embellishing any of it.

gtleviathan:Donald Trump::JacketForLife:Paul JohnsonIf you'd give the guy credit for the things he did well your criticisms would be taken much more seriously. Seems like you're always grinding your axe these days.

Not sure how it was his fault other than not reminding him on what to do. I was wondering if he was mistaken by thinking it was a kickoff, and calling the fair catch there gets the ball placed on the 25? Hasn't he been on most of the kickoff return teams?I saw that too. CGC specifically told Juanyeh when he came off the field, "That was my fault."
Could be. It wasn't the biggest error of the ballgame, certainlyNot sure how it was his fault other than not reminding him on what to do. I'm not sure either but CGC clearly said it. I assume it was CGC trying to encourage a player... and correct through kindness rather than angerNot sure how it was his fault other than not reminding him on what to do. Perhaps, but that seems like a weird thing to take blame for. Telling your players it's okay and you forgive them is not the same as actually saying it's your fault.I'm not sure either but CGC clearly said it. We've literally not HAD a ST coach before this year. thankfully, we finally are seeing some actual attention to D & ST. It'll pay dividends down the road.
Agreed, but you could see what CGC was saying very clearly. (It's at 2:07:30 on the YouTube TV recording. CGC says "It's not your fault. Shut up, shut up. It's my fault.") He definitely errs on the side of being a "player's coach," so who knows.Perhaps, but that seems like a weird thing to take blame for. As a coach, I've certainly taken blame when something like that happened, but I can only thing of two reasons why:
1) We didn't anticipate or practice for this scenario, so the player was unprepared. My fault.
2) I told the player to do something that ended up being the wrong decision.
I have a hard time believing either was the case on the fair catch punt.
Yep, I saw the same thing. I guess I'll never know why.Agreed, but you could see what CGC was saying very clearly. (It's at 2:07:30 on the YouTube TV recording. CGC says "It's not your fault. My guess is maybe Juanyeh hasn't been getting many reps there at practice (he just started returning KO's again last week since his hand/wrist has healed). Coach may have run him out there on a whim just to try to create a spark instead of his current #1 punt returner without giving him any reminders/coaching. Then when that happend, coach realized maybe that was a bad call for me to put you there because you haven't been practicing there lately. I have no idea just spitballing.Perhaps, but that seems like a weird thing to take blame for. Telling your players it's okay and you forgive them is not the same as actually saying it's your fault.

Wut? We still don’t have a designated special teams coach.
And what makes you say special teams is getting more attention.
The fact that after every game that special teams sucks ass CGC reminds us the punt team eats first?
