I am curious what the masses will say to this.
Bottom Line

If we lose to UGA this year, thus making Chan 0-6 against UGA, do we keep him, regardless of our record?

It's not that cut and dry unfortunately. I would say that one game should not determine whether he stays or not, even if it is UGAg...

My personal feeling is if we let that one game dictate who our coach is then we really are UGA's *itch.

You keep or fire a coach based on whether you believe he is the best man to run your program. Lets take a look at the whole season and answer that in December.

If we lose to the mutts this year, I feel safe saying that we haven't done what it takes to get to the OB (give me a break).

We are going to lose to the mutts this year. We aren't going to the orange bowl. He should be gone, but he won't be, because the powers that be at tech are too girlie to make a move.

How can we fire a guy for losing to a team that is better than our team. Its not like UGa is the little sisters of the poor. Name one year out of the past six where Tech was clearly better than UGa.

Unless it's the only one we lose from here on out, I don't know how he can survive losing to them again.

the last 3 years we have had the ball at the end of the game with a chance to win.

3 years ago we through it out of bounds on 4th down

2 years ago reggie throws an INT inside the 10

last year well we dont need to bring that up

point is UGA will always have more talent do to their easier degree options, we managed to beat them 3 years in a row awhile back and YES they had more talent then as well

IF IT IS NO LONGER A RIVALRY, WHY DONT WE QUIT PLAYING THE GAME!

I don't know about the masses, but my understanding from a reliable source is that the Athletic Board would say keep him. This is not to say that 4-8 with a loss would change things, but another 7-5 type season and a UGa loss will not garner a coaching change.

7-5 looks doubtful to me.
