Keion was one of 17 players invited to KC with anticipation of being a first rounder. I didn't see the pick, but if he's back home it would have be deflating to have been brought to KC yesterday and unceremoniously been sent home for day 2.

I was thinking KC was going to pick him as the last pick in the first round. They went with a home town kid whose measurables were lower than KW and he was a smaller guy who plays the same position. He had interviewed with KC this past week too. I honestly think he was one of the more impressive DEs and smaller guys were picked before him from factory type schools with better records.

I honestly chalked that up to bad production if that’s the same clip I saw right after the pick. Like they played footage of home waiting rather than the reaction to the pick. They showed everyone around him cheering going crazy shortly after though, admittedly, KW still looked somewhat subdued. Maybe they gave them a second take LOL

That’s a lot of it. The camera is on them the whole night. They don’t always have the timing right for the shot that goes on air.
