Hmm. So I guess he will use this year as his RS as he only got in 4 games, so 1 year of eligibility, right?

The demotion fell at a favorable point on the schedule for Bryant. The NCAA loosened its restrictions on redshirting this season. Players can now appear in a maximum of four games without sacrificing a year of eligibility.

If Bryant played a single snap against Syracuse, his college career would be over in January. By withdrawing from the remainder of the season, he will be eligible to play immediately at another program next year.

Art Briles recruits him from Italy to be the new GT QB after CPJ gracefully retires at the end of 2018.

Art is hired, CPJ works with him on the coaching transition, Art retains half of CPJ's staff, but lets Sewak go.

Art installs a hybrid system with option principles from CPJ (albeit simplified blocking that works better with new NCAA rules) and passing principles from Baylor.

Profit.
 
He made the correct decision. Lawrence was obviously the better QB Saturday and deserves to be the starter

Yep. They could make the playoffs with either, but if they want to have a chance to beat Bama for national Title they needed Lawrence to be the guy.

This is how Dabo differs from Saban.

Saban strung Hurts along even when it was painfully obvious that Tua was by far the better player and would take all meaningful snaps, because he needed a backup. The fact that he came out and said the coaches wouldn't communicate with him at all about the situation says a lot.

Dabo was up front with both players and as soon as it became evident that Lawrence gave Clemson the better chance, he sat Bryant down and leveled with him. I also don't think it was a coincidence that he made the switch after the 4th game instead of the 5th.
 
Who didn't see this coming? Trevor Lawrence is a Heisman caliber player. Stand aside. But butthurt Kelly can get a decent gig being BMOC at one of the lesser schools. It's just really ignorant and lowlife to turn on the whole school and team that gave you a shot JUST AS SOON AS IT WAS ANNOUNCED!!! What about the team, dumass? What about the season? What happens if Lawrence gets a knee? Total dimwit. Clempson is better off without this butthurt little girl.

Hurts could still transfer, no? I think he has also been told he'll be the backup going forward.

Your right however, it is a mystery to me how UGAG can keep all of their QBs in the stable year after year.
