Kelly Bryant leaving Clemson

Your right however, it is a mystery to me how UGAG can keep all of their QBs in the stable year after year.
It's not that hard to figure out.

He made the correct decision. Lawrence was obviously the better QB Saturday and deserves to be the starter

The difference wasn’t as telling in the A&M game. Bryant was better in that one.

I don't think Dabo or Bryant necessarily did wrong here. Dabo has to play his best qb and Bryant is thinking about his best chance at getting drafted and making money.

From a purely competitive standpoint, Dabo should have tried to string him along one more week. Not like Bryant couldn't have beaten us by himself. Clemson definitely comes out as the loser here. One injury away from a wrecked season for a national championship caliber team.

This is how Dabo differs from Saban.

Saban strung Hurts along even when it was painfully obvious that Tua was by far the better player and would take all meaningful snaps, because he needed a backup. The fact that he came out and said the coaches wouldn't communicate with him at all about the situation says a lot.

Dabo was up front with both players and as soon as it became evident that Lawrence gave Clemson the better chance, he sat Bryant down and leveled with him. I also don't think it was a coincidence that he made the switch after the 4th game instead of the 5th.
OTOH, Clemson has had 4 QB's transfer in the last 12 months.

Who didn't see this coming? Trevor Lawrence is a Heisman caliber player. Stand aside. But butthurt Kelly can get a decent gig being BMOC at one of the lesser schools. It's just really ignorant and lowlife to turn on the whole school and team that gave you a shot JUST AS SOON AS IT WAS ANNOUNCED!!! What about the team, dumass? What about the season? What happens if Lawrence gets a knee? Total dimwit. Clempson is better off without this butthurt little girl.

Art Briles recruits him from Italy to be the new GT QB after CPJ gracefully retires at the end of 2018.

Art is hired, CPJ works with him on the coaching transition, Art retains half of CPJ's staff, but lets Sewak go.

Art installs a hybrid system with option principles from CPJ (albeit simplified blocking that works better with new NCAA rules) and passing principles from Baylor.

Profit.
I love these kinds of posts, which reflect this deep ambivalence we all feel about CPJ.

It's like, we should replace CPJ, but it's not all bad, so we keep all the stuff that works and the assistants that we like.

It's like, I love my wife, I just wish she was also more ______.

This is when, "It's not you, it's me," becomes not just relevant but also accurate.

This just RE-PROVES for the 854,234,987,012,675,324,098,765 time that athletes (especially at the factory schools) are in school to play sports and that EVERYTHING ELSE is of zero consequence.

Do you have any idea the percentage of non-scholarship-athletes who transfer every year from college to college? Me neither. But it's a pretty normal human reaction when life doesn't go the way you expect it to.

He graduated with a "degree" in history in May. He would have to declare a graduate major, right? I guess Tech is out of the question.
