Kelly Bryant leaving Clemson

He graduated with a "degree" in history in May. He would have to declare a graduate major, right? I guess Tech is out of the question.

I have a BA and MA in History (I made terrible decisions in life) and only basic college algebra was required, so I would say yeah, no chance.

Arkansas, Auburn and Florida have been floated as possible destinations so far. I do suspect he goes to an SEC school that is looking to bridge from one QB to the next.

Well, then he should go to Auburn since Clemson is just 'Auburn by the lake'.

Why would Tech be out of the question? We've got graduate courses that don't require fancy-pants math/science classes. MA in HST, eg.

Nah there are plenty of grad programs that I'm sure he'd be fine in.

I would think Tennessee would be a prime target for him. He can play right away with no rules right? From what I saw Saturday night he could start this weekend.

I thought he could play right away with new rules. Then he is an idiot for leaving his team.

How is he an idiot. He’s played in 4 games. That’s the limit for a redshirt. If he plays in another then his career ends at the end of this season.

It's not that hard to figure out.

So, I guess ESPN slobbering over how cool and chill he and Lawrence were about the platooning system was a lie.

KB was cool with it as long as he was the starter. His feelings got hurt when Dabo realized he should start the future NFL #1 pick in the draft instead of an okay/good senior college QB.

Still to be seen if Clemson pulling the trigger on starters is wise. A&M is meh and Clemson has played 3 pretty mediocre teams otherwise - including us.

This.. we may have screwed then into a false sense of security

Art Briles recruits him from Italy to be the new GT QB after CPJ gracefully retires at the end of 2018.

Art is hired, CPJ works with him on the coaching transition, Art retains half of CPJ's staff, but lets Sewak go.

Art installs a hybrid system with option principles from CPJ (albeit simplified blocking that works better with new NCAA rules) and passing principles from Baylor.

Profit.

And then we wake up and welcome Derek Dooley to the flats.
