I would hardly call him a fraud for crying out loud! He is a football coach, but not a head coach! If I read Batt correctly he and the rest of the coaches are gone. Get out of Batts way and let him do his job!

I dunno. Maybe get rid of coach Key, like the thread title suggests? And don't replace him with some gimmicky bullshit?

It’s Deion or bust for me. But I’d like Key to stay as OL, but that won’t happen. The OL has been a train wreck, and Key is actually coveted in that role by some premier programs. So he’s most likely out of here.
 
Deion is a scam. He‘s playing daddy ball in a league on the level of high end high school ball. He is doing his son no favors with empty stats. The NFL won’t be fooled. And I’m not fooled by his empty wins. He’s basically a rec ball coach beating 16 year olds with 18 year olds. P5 players won’t flock to him like you think especially when he gets exposed on a coaching level. Tik tok videos and reading a script off his cell phone mean nothing in P5 football.
 
Would things be different for Brent Key if he was able to build his on staff? I was just thinking how difficult it must be to build success when the cards have already been dealt. I know in the business environment that clowns with egos leave a bunch of dead bodies as they build their empires and then when somebody discovers they are fakes the damage has been done. Time, money and good people are gone or are used up and burnt out.

He was and also blocked from doing his job by CGC. Also Long and Thacker are currently sabotaging him at every turn so when he wins, not only does he defeat the other mediocre ACC teams with his coaching super powers, but he also spoils his own staff's devious plans.
 
I don’t want a coach who can’t get to 4-4 in the ACC. We aren’t beating Clemson with what we have right now, so the coach needs to be able to get to 4-3 with the rest of the conference schedule. Key is at 2-2. Go get two more wins and show some fight with uga.
 
Any chance we hire new HC before season is over? Would be nice to have first mover advantage before all the other coachless schools hire someone.

Who chose to play at the lowest level of college football he could find. I’ve watched several J State games and he is an athlete playing QB not a QB playing QB. Like Sims he dominated high school ball because he‘s a stud athlete hence the 4 stars. And he’s going to dominate the SWAC because their defenses makes our defense look like the 85 Bears. But if you’ve seen him play his passing is weak.
