Know the Foe: Georgia Tech

Damn that’s nit picky. For a quick overview that wasn’t bad. I’m sure we’ve sent calls in with receivers before. And honestly calling an AB a receiver isn’t the craziest thing in the world.
It could only help recruiting.

No doubt CPJ is just as upset by this reporters slap in the face as many here.

So he will focus on that aspect all week instead of S/T, developing D depth, coming up with snarky comments about people hating him due to new blocking rules, and teaching QBs how to throw 10 yards.

USF smiles

I watched the first half of their game against Elon and have good news and bad news.

The good news is they had problems stopping the run. They were very good at tipping passes and intercepting them. So we should stick to running the ball.

The bad news is they have a very good QB who can hit vertical routes for long gains. Should be a good game, but I think we win by 10. We’re only 3 point favorites though.

....against Elon.

True, but our results were against Alcorn State, so....

They are 4-1 in their last 5 games with their only loss being to UCF, who went undefeated last year. We should not take them lightly.

He was a 5 star QB out of high school. While he did lose out on the starting job at 2 schools before ending up at USF, the guys who beat him out were 4 and 5 star QBs themselves.

Regardless, I think it's fair to assume that they will make us pay if our young DBs turn receivers loose downfield. We're gonna have to get a more consistent pass rush so that he doesn't have time to set his feet and pick someone out.

Clearly you aren't drinking the Nate Woody kool-aid.

I'm with you though, I expect to see us get burned for several long gains. Still think we win comfortably.

I just googled him. Turns out he was the starting QB at Alabama before getting replaced by Jalen Hurts. He's probably one of the best QBs in the country.
