Yeah. At one point in the early 2000s they were perhaps they were probably the best non-power conference.

My mom worked in the CS department at SPSU and then KSU after the merger. She said SPSu was well run, KSU was a train wreck.

They don't seem to mind. Just package them into your student loan payments that wont be due until you graduate and that's a lifetime away for a teenager. You'll have plenty of money in your first job after obtaining that paper.

The academic side of SPSU was never in question. The administration was profoundly incompetent, which is why they lost their name, colors, mascot, and campus to KSU.
