Yes, Davis did not impress. Maybe doesn't have 'soft' hands, maybe wasn't using his body well, maybe wasn't running the routes well – but either well he was much bigger than his coverage but couldn't bring the ball in. And they were decent balls. Not good for us.

It was obvious to anyone with half a brain what was going on. He'd lost a portion of the fanbase that was wealthy, influential, and unrealistic, just like happens at every other school to every other coach, and instead of being fired, he figured he'd opt to bank a little less money in return for leaving on his own terms. Everyone knows this.

I think losing to an FCS triple option team followed by the shitty team he bailed on to come to GT would be nightmare worst-case scenario for Geoff Collins. I don't expect a lot more wins this season, but we really really REALLY need to win this one.
