Long...Read if you like...

My question isn't whether he's a gametime QB or not but if the others are better choices and if the Coaches or the fan base should be making those decisions and I'm really concerned that we don't have a meany coach maybe we could get you to volunteer.

Thanks, but I'm not a meany either, but I like the way you are thinking!

Listen, it used to only be the Tech fans that wondered why. Now, everyone in the country is looking for any kind of justification as to why Chan Gailey has not pulled Reggie in favor of anyone else for a series, a quarter, a half, or a game or 13.

There has to be a reason, and it's not that he has looked better in practice. That's not how practice works in season.

Could you please elaborate on "everyone in the country"? I don't consider hacks from the AJC a good barometer.

Sorry, I don't mean everyone in the country. Just what the national college football media thinks of our 4 year quarterback.
They have been brutal.

go and read the MT article I posted linked earlier. The press in the state is seriously questioning who in Hades could leave Reggie Ball in the game. BTW, the article was written by Michael Lough, a South Carolina graduate, not some UGA hack trying to rub it in. RAD NEEDS TO READ CHAN THE RIOT ACT ABOUT PLAYING SOMEONE ELSE IN THE BOWL GAME. He will learn a damn lot in a hurry.

That is how practice works in the season UNLESS you have an option that is at least close to the starter.
Most of us on these boards don't have a clue to what happens on the practice field but I can say this those that I have contact with say with out fail our starting QB is our best option and it ain't close.
I, like cyclejacket want to know who EVERYONE is.

well why didnt we recruit a QB the last 4 years capable of challenging Reggie? who's fault is that

How can you even type something like this and salvage any of your masculinity. You totally sound like a nagging broad.

I won't argue this point because I have no idea what you are talking about.

Please show me some kind of proof or at least strong evidence that Taylor Bennett or anyone is getting half the number of snaps as RB with the first unit in practice.

If he is not, would you agree that CG doesn't see a problem at qb during real football games?

:wow:

Maybe during practice the defense doesn't say mean things to him to get him rattled.
:roflmao::roflmao:

I don't care who you are, that is damn funny.

And remember, he wears the "dont' hit me vest" in practice also.

The people I have had talks with about the QB situation say our options are not good at this time. I like most here do not have the option of attending practice and must rely on what they tell me.

I agree that we have a problem with QB position and I don't know what the solution is but I would not change just for the sake of change unless I thought I could be succesful. CCG has been coaching for a very long time I would venture a guess he knows he's got a problem and I will not reveal where my Information comes from.

Do you have testicles or a mangina? Tell what you know or don't post BS like this.

Hall (Transferred to Delaware)
Suggs (Benched)
Bilbo (Benched)
Pena (Transferred to Oklahoma State)
Carter (Transferred to Louisville)
Bennett (Couldn't beat out Ball)
Manley (Couldn't beat out Ball)
Garner (Couldn't beat out Ball)
Ingram (Couldn't beat out Ball)
Ball (The Best of the Lot)

That's 10 QBs or 2 per year for 5 years and the Ball is the best QB that this staff could produce. What does that say about the performance of our coaches? Are they just that bad at talent evaluation in recruiting, don't know how to develop QB talent, or both?

What I posted is what I know.
I posted what I've been told from someone I am reasonably confident knows what he's talking about. I've been a member of the working press a long time although retired now I still have a great many contacts that sometimes are willing to give info to people they trust and There identiy is none of your business besides if I started posting names on an internet board I never get anymore info and I tkink you ought to be smart enough to realise that.
Where the hell do think info comes from in regards to these matters. I never seen anyone giving info on any other board post the name unless he had permission.
Is yours posted?
This an internet board nobody asked you to believe any more than you want but as long as I feel like what I post is correct, tastefull ,within the rules of the board and can give others a reasonable view of whats happening I will continue to do so.
If you don't want to read or believe what I post hit the ignore button.

Once again, I say share your "inside" knowledge.
I'm not asking you to name names. As Joe Friday used to say, "Just the facts, maam".
This little game of I've got a secret that you're playing is B****S****
