The longest streak GT or UGA ever had of beating each other consecutively by 21 points or more was two until now. UGA has beaten us by 20+ three years in a row and I’m pretty confident this year will make four. Two of the years were under CPJ and two under CGC if you go ahead and chalk up this year. Something ain’t working.

Crazy what happens when you have a good coach and a good recruiter all in one

CPJ had too many FCS level players on the roster. CGC and his staff should be coaching high school football instead.

You guys still own the longest streak. Eight straight in the fifties. Twice in this generation UGA has won 7, and right on the verge of #8, the Jackets have pulled it out and Sisyphus is at the bottom of the mountain again.

First time was 1998, a decent Georgia team but Joe Hamilton led a late drive in Athens and GT hit the game-winning field goal, then won the next two as well—after which UGA won another 7, bringing us to 2008. DEFINITELY Georgia was going to win in 2008. Book it. Mark it down. Preseason #1 rank, AND Tech had a new coach who was trying to force Chan Gailey's roster into a new offense. We chuckled. No WAY Georgia loses in 2008.

Every time that happens, it begins the cycle again. At LEAST eight years before we get another shot at it. I'm getting old . . . So ya see, there are still some nice things you can have.

Don't forget FOUR National Championships to your ONE.

This is a respectful post. I’m probably the most anti-ban person here and I’d permaban you.

Dodd got them Georgee Bulldogs 8 straight!

Every time I think about the series, my mind always goes to the games that should have been ours 1978, 1997, 2004, 2006, 2009, 2013. UGAg always has some dumb luck that seems to come to fruition against us every time.
I’ll add 1973 and 1995. In 73 a bogus piling on call cost us the game. The GT def player was coming in for a tackle and saw the UGA player down and dove over the pile and the crooked SEC ref threw a flag. The GT player asked him about it and he said sorry son … I can’t take it back.
The 1995 game that doofus SEC ref that tried to hose us every chance he could called intentional grounding on Donnie Davis that was bull crap. Donnie was throwing the ball out of bounds and made sure he threw over the GT receivers head. He was that tall lanky ref that was horrible.
I’ll throw UGA a bone. They got hosed on the Jasper Sanks fumble but I tell my UGA friends that about 5 or 6 more of thos calls and we’ll be even, especially during the Dooley years.

Now that this is established, what now?
Let it also be established that all Tech players can read. Unlike uga players like Malcom Mitchel who had a 5th grade reading level or lower upon his admittance to uga. He also got a degree? What a farce.

Also remember you are in our house right now so if you ever feel like saying anything positive about that ass hole of a school you cheer for you can öööö off.

Remember the Justin Thomas “fumble” in 2014?

I’ve been nothing but complimentary to the fact GT is a recognized, highly regarded academic institution. I’ve had more positive comments about the football team than many on here. I’ve also stated I fully realize I’m a visitor. So, not sure what triggered this reaction. My comment that you refer to was meant as, all that’s great how do you win today.

So you know Malcolm couldn’t read well and got admitted?

I knew he tested that he read on an 8th grade level but that he got to college and all of that changed. Now we can all debate if he should have ever been admitted but that was also years ago now and his story has turned out to be very positive as he’s given back specifically in this area.
