Pretty sure he was an AMac recruit. Hate losing any but wish him the best of luck since his reasoning is the coaching change.

I hate it for the Jackets and for Gee. But I do not believe he was going to be able to get into GT. Best of luck to him and I hope he can big a big-time player wherever he goes.

Yes, that's A Mac's turf, or was.
Had been a South Carolina commit.

Truth is that he wants to be at Tech, however he did not qualify and no exception given.

In his note he stated it was due to the coaching changes. Mac was his recruiter and would’ve been his positional coach as well. However, now rumors are surfacing that he was not academically eligible. Neither of those reasons should warrant making fun of him.

Probably for the best. If he was struggling to academically qualify for the University of Georgia Tech, then he would have had zero chance of qualifying at the Institute.

Sorry to loose him but if Mac had him committed (and given CPJ's grad rate) the academics were probably not the problem.
We are in transition, no reason to diss kids who are trying to figure it all out. Kudos to the ones who GT it and make BDS home.

You are wrong. Like completely wrong. Read his tweet. I said nice things about the kid and hope he does well but he was not getting into GT.

The signing ceremony is the giveaway, as is the "no interviews please." If he signs with GT, we know it is grades. If he signs somewhere else, we know it is the coaching change.

Always give people a chance to save face. If he signs with GT, he honors GT, and we should treat him with honor as well.

Good luck to him wherever he goes and whatever he does, saving for any games he faces us.
