Honestly, I don't see any obvious guys that CGC wouldn't want from our signees. We don't really have any AB/ATH in this signing class right now... no obvious reaches or undersized guys.

Ahmarean Brown and Kalani Norris were probably going to be ABs for CPJ but they might also be the best offensive players in the class. Good in the slot, good on reverses, and have the speed to go get the ball down the field. If fact, these guys would be wasting some talent if they were playing AB. Zach Owens might not have gotten much of a look from CGC, maybe. Still, he's a 6-3 195# WR and those are never bad to have around. Maybe Amerson, as well, but he has great size.

The guys in the secondary all have great size. The DL prospects... we'll see. Not a lot of size, but we also don't need the bulk as much in a 4 man front.

I agree. Two guys I wonder about are the 2 current commits who didn't sign: Joshua Black and Larry Dowdy. Both are seen as ideal linemen for the option, but are 2 stars per rivals. I think Black could play DT for us and had offers from USCe and Louisville. I wonder if these 2 are wondering about their fit or not feeling the love. We will see.

Are these posters you refer to anything like the smarmy, self righteous, smug elitists that only regard 4* and 5* as worthy of attention from the new coaching regime?

In his note he stated it was due to the coaching changes.

I took a job once where I got a boss change, wish I had "committed" somewhere else.
