Marco and Michigan State

Lol. He's obviously very well respected as a former player, person, mentor to these kids, etc... but the DEs have not exactly lived in the backfield under his tutelage. Also, his relationship with TStan led me to believe he'd be one of the least likely to be poached. What a time to be alive.

He is most likely gone, as we cannot compete with the kind of $$ Michigan State has decided to spend so that they can be a player in this new environment. But, I do wish in this case, TStan would consider letting him know he would be retained if something happens to the current HC. I know, I know. You can't "undermine" the new HC, but in this case, Marco is sought after, and if he stayed, any new HC would have to know that this was part of the deal.

I know it won't happen, but I can hope.

I grew up a diehard Michigan State fan and we should not be poaching coaches from Georgia Tech, my God. I'm in my mid-20's and old enough to remember when Tech football was more prestigious than MSU. I get that the conference money has shifted reality around a bit, but MSU should not be taking alumnus coaches from GT. It's a sign of very deep rot

I have no respect for Marco Coleman. If Ventura wouldn’t have tripped there’s no way he could have kept up with him
