Mark Richt has dominated Paul Johnson

We made them pass and ended up with a 4th and 11. It's not a play call issue.

Selective memory? We ended up with a 4th and 11 AFTER we eventually adjusted to the screen pass and only AFTER a 15 yard personal foul penalty.

Suicide!? Are you high!? Did you watch the game? Rosier was missing dudes all day! What's the percentage for bubble screen completion vs 15+yds downfield?

That Rosier dude who was missing people all day went 23 for 37 and if you had watched the game you would know he got more accurate in the second half. But yeah sure, go ahead and let Miami score so there will be more time on the clock for the offense to go 3 and out again.

An illegal block below the waist on one of those screen plays.
Okay you're right. We had them right where we wanted them. Hope we force Wake into a series of 6-10 yard gaining passes next week and get temporarily bailed out by a chop block for a thrilling victory.

It wasn't a chop block. I am guessing that Wake doesn't have as many 4 and 5 stars as Miami. I wonder if that makes a difference on play calling.

Your superior athlete argument literally makes no sense in this situation. Their athletes, not play calling, are what shut down our offense. But their offensive talent was not overwhelming nor was our defense overmatched. Without any question our guys were not put in a position to succeed on that final defensive drive. Simple as that. We conceded the screen on five plays in a row which gave them excellent field position with minimal risk or effort. Their "it wasn't a chop block" illegal block bailed us out. Our inferior athletes made a good play on 4th and 10 and the bounce literally went Miami's way. Our secondary's inferior athletes outplayed Miami all game, especially in the red zone. So again, you can play the inferiority complex thing til you turn blue, but you're just going to be blue and wrong. Just be wrong.

Maybe our defense play to that point was because of good play calling. You are basically saying that if we have the lead after X amount of time then that extrapolates to a lead at 60 minutes.

No, I actually did not say that. The game I watched today, our inferior athletes on defense made play after play after play. You sound like the ESPN dingleberries who couldn't fathom a 5'9 defensive back making play after play on 6'4 receivers. I like Ted Roof and you won't find a single post from me that has ever bashed Ted Roof. I thought we played a good defensive game today, be it our inferior athletes making plays or good play calls, the defense was good. But the play calling and tackling was horrible for a five play stretch on that final drive. If you want to talk about extrapolation, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect that if we can hold them off for 59 minutes let's just not puss out at the end and keep coming at them for the full 60. Same shit with the Tennessee game.

Right, it was only after like the 5th time they ran it, which is nuts.
The infuriating aspect of those damn screens is how often Richt used that play as a "must-get-yards-on-this-play" call at Ugag. Its like we've never seen film on Richt's playcalling. And please, nobody remind me that Richt didn't call plays at UGa - he's been bubble-screening us to death since he was at F$U and we keep falling for it.

Dude, shut the öööö up. You're getting your ass handed to you just like our D did on the last drive, and you still fail to make any adjustments.

All of Roof’s tenure has included people bitching about the cushion we give receivers. He’s famous for his corners giving an 8 yard cushion on 4th and 7.

It’s stupid and yesterday was Richt ramming that cushion up Roof’s ass.

Pretty positive we did move the corners up; just not as soon you would have liked. Even the tv commentators mention the change.

Yes, but that was after even the TV commentators were wondering why we weren't doing it. They even said what we should do and were surprised we hadn't. The m then we did end up doing it a couple plays later.

I don't pin this loss on Roof because the O really got shot down after the first quarter, not that was bad.

That bubble screen fiasco was hard to watch. But I am sure the Miami fans were just as pissed about the 6 toss sweeps were ran on our first TD series.

We were one play away from winning and neither the offense or defense could make it. Credit Miami for making the plays when the game was on the line.

I'm glad he's at Miami instead of Georgia.
It's only been a couple of days since he kicked us in the balls again, and this is still super funny to me. Admittedly, not as funny as it would be if Georgia had already begun choking this year, but that's what happens when you play in the Charmin East.
