Masks in Bobby Dodd Stadium.

The tyranny/liberty argument is tiresome. Georgia Tech, or the NCAA, or the ACC has the right to set conditions on who enters the stadium and how they behave once when they enter. Purchasing a ticket does not give anyone the liberty to bring alcohol or illegal drugs to the stadium, bring in weapons, come naked, etc. The new definition of liberty that I can do anything I want and there should be no consequences is pathetic. If Georgia Tech says we must wear masks, then liberty gives us the right to choose to comply or not attend.

This isn't about Georgia Tech deciding what they want. External pressure will drive policy. I'm sure Georgia Tech would prefer to max out sales and revenue.

I agree purchasing a ticket doesn't give someone the right to do whatever they please in the stadium. Saying the new definition of liberty is "I can do whatever I want without consequence" is a straw man. That is not what people who are against mask and vaccine mandates are advocating. They want a return to the conditions prior to covid hysteria. That's hardly "do whatever I want without consequence."

People are rightly pushing back on government force that says how many people we can have at our home, what holidays we can celebrate, what places we're allowed to go to, when we can leave our homes and what we must cover our faces with.

That is tyranny by definition - oppresive power exerted by government.

or I could identify as an illegal alien, then I am bulletproof

You don't have a right to attend a football game.
strictly speaking, you're absolutely right about the rights of private property owners to enforce whatever conditions they desire, and I should have put that codicil in my statement of general principle, which is applied to the public square.

I hope that the gtaa will honor refunds for those who purchased tickets then have this face covering standard introduced after the sale

I also hope that they honor your seats for next year if they issue refunds. They stated before this season that they would not if you didn't renew...
