Meyer Fired

--well that didn't last long. He never should have left Florida. EGO will get you every time.
He had to leave Florida. He is a low life scumbag who was involved with the Hernandez murders and the law was closing in on the whole story. The closer it got to Hernandez, and the liklihood someone was going to talk, would eventually reveal Meyer's cover up. He feigned illness and the fake media covered for him. Then, Ohio State, rather than keep Luke Fickell, joined into a back room deal with this sleazebag. Again, Mr. Phony was bleaching hard drives and cell phones in a way Hillary would be proud. It is beyond me how this cat has more than nine lives, when guys like Hugh Freeze did less than 1% of his sorry ass but remain blackballed. Hopefully, he will finally retire to a ranch somewhere, and take his loud mouth idiot daughter with him.

High Freeze was calling prostitutes from his ole Miss phone line. I think it's a bit more than 1%. He is a good fit at Liberty.

Jacksonville saying that they're not gonna pay him. I don't think they'll be able to prove cause, but I'm assuming they'll settle somewhere in the middle.

Don't hold back. Tell us how you really feel. LOL.

I am not his biggest fan, and he definitely covered Hernandez scumbaggery when he was at UF, but I never heard anything about him being connected to Hernandez' murders. If you have anything to share, I'd love to hear it. I am disappointed that Golden Boy, Belicheat, and their rub-and-tug owner have seemingly escaped any questions about Hernandez . . . how did he behave around them; weren't there any signs; etc.

Anyway, I didn't realize until I saw that conference call video that Meyer was a stoner. But it explains a lot.

Nice shot at Liberty. LOL.

So I wonder if he had called his whores from a private phone, would he still be there? It doesn't seem to bother anyone that in between tweets with videos of him taking hits from a bong, Laremy Tunsil was tweeting with Freeze's assistants about how they were payng his mother. I guess they were just prepping for NIL.

If I was deciding this case, I'd give Meyer every penny of his full contract - and I don't even like the sleezeball. Shah is a billionaire with a lot of folks to advise him, and Meyer's long list of bad behavior (including lying to his AD at OSU) was well documented. He can't claim ignorance. It's called "assumption of risk."

They all learned this crap from Al Davis (RIH).

The agents for coveted coaches like Gruden and Meyer need to structure their deals the way players do. Big up front bonus money with smaller annual salaries. Cheapass scumbag owners can't withhold what they already paid.

Just saying.
Who are coaches who follow conversions from the Triple Option, Alex?

What? That's not correct?

It’s got to be pretty hard to deal with the egos of modern professional athletes. I don’t know what skill set would be required for it. Winning seems to help a lot.
Lol, it clearly isn’t when one of the most popular coaches is Bill Belichik. Who doesn’t give a öööö about your feelings.
What he does do is treat the players professionally. There’s no other work environment where a manager can physically kick someone under them and expect to remain employed.

True. Collins is proof positive that you only need the carrot never the stick.

While we are on that subject, parents who abandoned the stick and only use the carrot have led to so much better children. Its amazing how we only figure that out now and were so wrong about the carrot AND stick method for literally all of human history.
NFL coaches have a massive ööööing stick that they use all the time.
It’s called getting paid.
In the NFL, if you don’t perform, you get replaced. It’s simple as that. You don’t need any another f’ing stick.
Just like every other professional setting in the world.

With all the controversy this season I am very surprised that the kicking incident was not reported for over four months.

Agreed. Apparently some people want to argue you gotta be Coach Mr Rogers or you are a neanderthal. CPJ and a ööööload of others (and a lot of employees we have worked with IRL) have showed you can be a dickhead and get away with it if you win, but that'll come back to bite you if you aren't clearly valuable.

I do want to add this kicker öööö seems so nothingburger I can't believe the "I woulda kicked his ass and in doing so would have walked away from the NFL" because nobody would hire a kicker that assaults a coach, even if provoked to. Which also makes me think of the Bill Burr bit about Rihanna and Chris Brown in the elevator where he points out that its unlikely Chris just snapped out of nowhere. I have a strong feeling this kicker is a real piece of work and that while you shouldn't kick anyone anytime, I can't help think this wasnt an out-of-the-blue incident.
I mean Gawdayum your a professional KICKER, someone just kicked you, kick the the everliving hell outta him back and move on- end of the story, nobody has to ever know about it.

Him and Jerry Falwell Jr must have gotten along GREAT, probably had some sweet pool parties...

Back in the old days, it was get caught with a dead woman or a live boy. Society has really changed.

Firing your unvaccinated employees, credit card swiping the b hole of someone who is not your wife, and kicking your kicker’s leg seems like enough to me

Let me know when the government leaders and senior executives who fire their unvaccinated employees suffer any consequences. Kicking the kicker might hold up in court if they have witnesses or video.
