A cough like that with no smoking can often indicate heart issues. I wonder if they had been working with doctors to try to help him before this. Lord knows the stress of being a football coach isn’t good for him. Sucks man.

Sounds eerily similar to the way my mom passed. They determined that she'd lost so much oxygen to her brain that if we'd chosen to keep her intubated, she wouldn't have had enough brain activity to do much of anything.
