65-137 on third down stops this season, so at this point what difference does it make?

Ah, typical Stingtalk. No real discussion, just name calling.

Checkout Guitar George. He knows all the chordsLet's see if it improves when we start playing chords again

I love how some folks on this board will big cry facts they don’t like.It ain't what they call rock n roll.
Defense is 110 in the nation in third down conversion percentage.
Offense is 120 in the nation in third down conversion percentage.
Somebody else has been cashing in on money down.
Who gives a öööö about some meaningless band geek tradition.
get the money
ADD: Nothing says fresh 404 culture like some pimple faced band dork blowing on a tuba
My only problem with this post is the ban isn’t permanent.I bet that tuba player is getting more action on campus than our loser players and coaches. Just sayin...
"Hey baby...I was on the team that lost 45-0 to a team we beat by 4 TD's last year".
Frankly, our band sucks too, but it's better than whatever is wrong with our PA.The biggest problem with the dj is that by time he surfs through his catalog of bad music for the perfect (sarcasm) song for the mood and gets it spun up, the other team is at the line of scrimmage.
The dj sucks. The PA operator sucks. Our equipment sucks.
it’s complete amateur hour at the GTAA on all fronts. They prove multiple times each game they have no clue.
they let the people who know what they are doing handle music in the stadium and that is the band.
Then I’ve got an even better idea. Let’s put a mic in front of @Rodzilla @swampsting and @GTFLETCH and broadcast that through the PA on third downs.Frankly, our band sucks too, but it's better than whatever is wrong with our PA.
I imagine the Hokies will go home and suggest changing their game entrance into something more like our new and woke game day approach and ditch their lame entrance to “Enter Sandman”.
Seriously, we first need to have a crowd and especially students in the stands about fifteen minutes before kickoff to have a great entrance. Good video introducing starters is nice. Power point “Above the line” is awful. Introduce Buzz and let cheerleaders lead a back and forth “YellowJackets” cheer punctuated with a few THWG’s, followed by a well done video with a little honoring tradition but even more featuring current players. Here is where you use your piped in music and make your video excellent. Follow with a loud steam whistle going off and choose a good entrance song like what you see at several schools. With “Here come the Jackets” and a little smoke or steam roll out the wreck and bring on the team.
Allstate was going to give him $1,000 for kicking that FG. Everyone in my section started laughing when it was announced after he missed the FG that he would receive two tickets to an upcoming GT home game. Poor fella. What did he do to Allstate to deserve that?I like the band for in-game purposes, but halftime shows are a waste of everyone’s time. Give me pee-wee football for 20 mins. Or more FG contests with random fans that can’t kick. Hell, player interviews on the big screen. Pretty much anything is better than “a musical tribute to Leonard Nimoy!”

I thought it was King who attempted the Allstate kick.Allstate was going to give him $1,000 for kicking that FG. Also, and I hope Mike Castle or someone reads this board, but my dad (our account) got an email for two free tickets to an upcoming GT basketball game. He said he went immediately to the link to claim the tickets.....none available. We are such a ööööing amateur operation.
I think it was Allstate trying to help us find a kicker. Luckily, we got nowhere near FG position all game long. I thought we'd have a chance to score, or get close, but the pregame meal of buttered corn on the cob wasn't a good idea and Yates perfectly placed pass to his open wide receiver's hands in the 4th was droppedI thought it was King who attempted the Allstate kick.
