The last time the team said a player was a freak in summer it was MJ and Calvin.

I have heard, they have said JN, Dwyer, Burnett and Donley were all freaks. HMMMMM

Everyone is focusing on the bad news...what about the good news of another commit by this weekend? Who is it demjackets?? :)

Do you realize that this is the second 4 star player that we have lost to home sickness since spring practice...just throwing that out there

if gailey sucks so bad then why do all the recruits commit and say it was because of the coaching staff? now that is no excuse for being a ****ty on the field coach but he must connect with his players pretty well and getting them there is half the battle.. now as for keeping them there....that seems to be a problem

I guess I will say it...Marius left because he does not the way he is managed by his coordinator.

Tenuta?

I have heard him get reemed on more than one occasion by Coach JT. Some kids just don't respond well to that.

I don't know much about this young man but sometimes financially sheltered kids tend to be broken at the slightest adversity.

What a crock of sh*t statement. Completely inappropriate. What does anyone's financial situation have to do with anything? I know silver spoon kids and the majority of them grow up with more pressure to succeed than their less financially sheltered counterparts. What's amazing is the majority of them end up succeeding above and beyond. A person's financial situation has nothing to do with grit and determination. You either have it or you don't. Its called being a leader.

Personally, if this kid is leading my team, I don't want there to be some soft wavering side to him. He is the leader. And leaders don't waffle at the first sign of adversity or in this case homesickness.

Brandon Sumner was supposed to be the "NEXT Joe Hamilton". He got homesick, went back to Orlando, and played for UCF. I don't recall him having much success.

LOL. In other words, he doesn't like getting his ass chewed out by Tenuta because he's blowing assignments.

If that's the case... BYE!!!

Here is my uneducated guess as to what I think happened.

1. He's not homesick, as someone said earlier that happens the first couple of months.

2. I think he saw in the spring the competition at QB and thought to himself am I or am I not going to be the man, maybe he's smart enough to figure that out already. This gives him a chance to go home look at other schools and decide what he really wants.

Whatever happens I wish him well.

it does seem that we are in getting enough to keep the competition going.

I cannot remember the last time a player left GT and ended up hurting us....Quincy Carter....hehe.

I do wish him the best and hope that we keep the quality rolling in.

Law, competition is what it's all about. The last 3 or 4 years we seem to be bringing in some players who want to compete and it's weeding out the lesser players.
