OK, not a spring practice update, but a spring update.
From track meet at FSU, running the 100-meter dash:

On the men’s side, Eric Singleton Jr. finished with a second-place time of 10.56.

Hope our guys just watch some Dolphins tape to see how to use relative speed like that.
 
Renewed my parking today - A2, if anyone wants to fight me, get the blood flowing.

There's a lot to be excited about for next season. I think Haynes King is one of the top 3 or 4 quarterbacks in the conference. I think we'll have the top 3 or 4 offense in the conference. The defense is the biggest question, and I think that will be improved as well. I saw the O/U at 5.5 wins, but I think we hit 8 wins. Hopefully a surprising 9 with a win against the Mutts, who don't impress me on their overall talent returning. We could sneak by them, like in 2016.
 
Does anybody have any reports on how Brandon Best did this spring? After a redshirt season in 2022, he got into eight games as a redshirt freshman in 2023. Really hoping he can step up and be a key piece of our OL. Every time he pancakes someone I’ll be leading the crowd cheering for him, “Let’s go Brandon! Let’s go Brandon!”

In these divisive times in which we live, it’s nice to have inspiring players to rally around that unite the fan base. Go Jackets!

Does anyone know if we have a walk-on QB with the last name Frump? I can think of an equally non-divisive cheer for this young man if he’s about to be sacked. It’s important to tuck the football, of course. :bigthumbup:
