For the Cox fans--
Go watch CFA Bowl film and come back again.
You can say that about a number of our players, on both sides of the ball.

The Oline for me. The took a lot of heat, and deservedly so, but when they clicked the offense was poetry in motion. I'm pumped to see improved and more importantly, consistant play out of the unit.
I know it doesn't seem like he was under-appreciated, but I don't think most people realize how many plays Morgan Burnett is in on.
Incredible ball hawk.
Bebe by far for me...I hope we get him more catches this year.
By definition, wouldn't the most under-appreciated player be someone who isn't mentioned in this thread?
Don't let logic get in the way of a great thread.By definition, wouldn't the most under-appreciated player be someone who isn't mentioned in this thread?
You must be a blast at parties. ;)
I sometimes think the water bottle carrier is very under appreciated. Having to run on the field in front of a packed stadium, having to decide who gets the water first since there are usually only 6 bottles. That can be some pressure but they always seem to get their job done.
My runner-up is the headset carrier (another tough and demanding job)
I think the real key for the bottle carrier is who is going to get the bottle all to himself. 6 bottles, 11 players...you do the math. We sometimes stop noticeing repetitive excellence. I think our crew is All-ACC this year personally.
From this fan's perspective, the bottle carrier can do no wrong if the carrier is a stacked "she" and has gorgeous legs and short shorts. It doesn't even matter if she forgets the water and has to run back for it just as long as she has a loose fitting bra or no bra at all.
Another under rated guy was James Liipfert. He was a special teams mad man.Over rated: Jaybo Shaw
I would have to agree here
Under rated:
Josh Nesbitt - Hurt all season long... Big time heart and leader. Very productive offense this year.
I think you could make a point for him, but the majority of our fans don't under rate him. Mostly the guys who want to see Jaybo.
Kyle Jackson - Most consistent LB all year. Played all 3 positions.
Still couldn't hold Sed's jock. I would say he was the most consistent as far as not being hurt, but he got pushed around a lot. I think he'll be much better when he loses the rest of the baby fat. He has a great frame and attitude
Dan Voss - Center is most important position on OL according to the coaches
I think he is rated about where he should be. He will have to fight to fend off McRae.
Lucas Cox - Out of position and blocked like a champ Agreed
Scott Blair - Might have saved 3 TDs on kickoff returns. Agreed
