For me it has to be Lucas Cox. I'm very happy he transferred here. He's done a great job in this system. Who do you have?

Bebe made some really good downfield blocks this last year. He gave the RBs the ability to get a lot more yardage.

Bebe by far for me...I hope we get him more catches this year.

I dunno - he does provide good size matchups with a lot of our opponents but he dropped too many passes this season for me not to be a little disappointed. He redeemed himself at Clemson, atleast.

Someone on the O-Line. I know they had a ton of struggles last year, but then so did everyone else(Bebe with his drops, Nesbitt with his fumbles). They did a hell of a job during the Miami and U[sic]GA games, and they were all trying to learn new schemes. Plus most fans(myself included) couldn't match up their names and numbers, so they are getting far less appreciation than the skills players.

The Oline for me. The took a lot of heat, and deservedly so, but when they clicked the offense was poetry in motion. I'm pumped to see improved and more importantly, consistant play out of the unit.

Derrick Morgan honestly... People don't talk about him near as much as they probably should. We're all enamored with the offense, and for good reason, but DMorg is such a key component to our Defense. I mean, he's THE man on the line next year.

Jaybo would have to be up their for me. he came in for the duke game. yeah i know it was duke. he also had a very key first down conversion against the nadlickers.

after that i would have to say...bebe because of his blocking. i know he dropped several balls but his blocking downfield was spectacular. a lot of nesbitt's runs would not have happened if bebe was not there.

When I think of under-appreciated, I think about those forgotten players. While I greatly appreciate the ones mentioned, appreciation has been expressed for them throughout.

My choice would be Kyle Jackson. With all of the hype surrounding Sed, Gladiator and A.T., Kyle led all the LBs in tackles. He was the most consistent LB in my book, and he didn't play hardly at all in the CFA Bowl!

I know it doesn't seem like he was under-appreciated, but I don't think most people realize how many plays Morgan Burnett is in on.

Incredible ball hawk.

most underappreciated poll poster: geez eric, give it a rest

I think Roddy would get a lot more praise, if we weren't so loaded at RB.

Cooper Taylor also comes to mind. He played very well as a true freshman, and hopefully will continue to impress.

I sort of agree with Bebe, but as our premier reciever, I don't think he is underappreciated so much as he is underutilized. I too hope he gets more balls his way this year.

It's hard to argue against BeBe or Lucas Cox. I would have to say Cox though. He came here as a protypical fullback probably expecting to play the same role his brother did. Instead, he completely adapted to the option game and played a position that is very unusual for a guy his size.

BeBe may have had a few drops, but he also had to block much more than the average WR and did one hell of a job at it. For a big, physical WR like BeBe to be playing in our system and blocking as much as he does shows the kind of team first guy he really is.

IMO, take your pick...they're both underappreciated.

Sed Griffin. Before he was injured he was the only thing we had that resembled a linebacker.

I do agree about Cox. I remember being very worried that we were starting a big guy at A-back, and thinking that opposing defenses would over-adjust to Roddy. It works because

A) They over adjust to Roddy, and Cox paves the way anyways.

B) When we do pitch to him its usually an easy first down.

-I'll give a +1 to Kyle Jackson. IMO, He and Griffin were our two best and most consistent LB's. I'm hoping Stephen Sylvester will be another playmaker there to give us three good ones this year. Barnes and Jefferson still leave me with doubts.

-How about the other WR's blocking as well (Melton, etc.). They blocked a lot and were thrown to almost none.

-Troy Garside. Dude was a Rudy out there, making a lot of plays on special teams and doing a good job blocking at AB when he was given a chance. CPJ always talked about him going hard every play, be it a game or practice. He set an example.

-Elris Anyaibe made a lot of plays in the many snaps he played this year even though he wasn't a starter.

-Scott Blair making WAY too many tackles on special teams. If it weren't for him, we may have lost 3 more games. I'll bet he made 7 TD saving tackles on kick coverage.

-+1 on Jaybo Shaw. Everybody is excited about new QB recruits. But what he was able to come in and do as a frosh was pretty remarkable. A lot of players are talking about how much he's been in the film room this offseason as well.
