The difference is most here did not refer to Reggie in slanderous ways like calling him "Leon" after the budweiser commercial of the primadonna athlete. Feel free to look that one up.

No that one was used often by half the people on that board when I used to read it. That guy is now trying to represent himself as a good respectable Tech fan, and he just has never been. At some point, he has insulted everything about GT including the students.

The only reason I can recall all of it is because he did it often. Before he created his own board he posted the same here. I think its rather funny that Irishe is coming to his defense.

About two years ago he decided to do a mass boot of posters on his board when they came in defense of Joseph Gilbert who he lambasted when he committed as a Junior to GT. It was April of the recruiting season and no one was ranked yet in the system. Didn't stop Bee from calling Gilbert a scrub and chewed out Gailey's ass for recruiting these losers. Knoxjacket and myself were two of the casualties of that mass boot.

It was easy enough to rag on Gailey's poor recruiting without having to single out a kid who commited to us and wasn't even yet evaluated by the services. But that was Beebad's style. No holds barred meant "I can say whatever I want to about whatever I want to, and the minute you disagree with me, I'm booting you off my board".
 
Just a question... I listened to most of the radio show and it seemed like Reggie was never on... was the whole reggie thing just a hoax?
 
Irishe, will you guys be taking call-ins on the Reggie Ball show? Also, is the interview over the phone or are you guys in some kind of studio? Just curious.
 
1. If what BeeBad posted on ST was soooooo bad before he created his own board, then why is nobody pulling posts out of the archive to prove it?

2. If you're just criticizing stuff on BO, that's silly. That's exactly why he created it: to speak his mind. If you didn't like it, just stay off it.

3. You don't have to like BeeBad to enjoy MTM. You're missing great guest speakers including current players and coaches, Adamm's unique perspective as a former player, and 33jacket's extremely knowledgeable/insightful commentary. Its a lot to give up just because you have beef with one guy whom you all, in fact, agreed with that Gailey should go.

I don't think BeeBad ever posted on ST and I think the hive archive only goes back so far.

First, BeeBad's constant attitude on this forum was nothing but negativity. Ever. He brought his absolute hatred for Chan Gailey into every thread on this forum that he could, regardless of whether it was about Chan or not, and that was all that he brought to the forum. From day one, the purpose he was defined by and that he held the entire time he was here and beyond was to preach the notion that Chan Gailey would be the end of this program's winning ways. In his mind, anything could in some way be linked to how Chan would run this program into the ground. When he left here to do it on his own forum, he contradicted himself on a daily basis by deleting people's posts for not agreeing with him. (Something that wasn't done to him here, though he had such a profound disdain for this forum's moderation)

And a note for the next idiot that feels like they'll be clever by saying "Oh and by the way, it turned out that beebad was right." or anything of that sort:

Beebad's claim was not that Chan Gailey would keep us at mediocrity (Though he quickly adjusted to shouting this when it was clear that his original idea was not going to occur) but that he was going to run this program into the ground B*** L**** style.

I am extremely apathetic to the entire topic of Adamm's show. I don't care who does or does not listen to it and for what reasons or what color Gold shirt they wear while they do so. But with one waste of flesh and bone (Typically Bunger Henry, who apparently still finds himself funny) comes a whole pack of others that remember beebad's waste of a tenure as a poster here as something completely different than what it was.
 
And for the record, if your stance that beebad "isn't as much of a troll as people say" is based on your ill-conceived notion that he never really posted anything all that bad/trolling/generally idiotic - then I suggest you do your research

I can. I think the majority of this board can, actually. I doubt that most of us have ever trolled on this forum and I know that none of them have done it anywhere near the form in which beebad did.

There is a reason his friends still show up from time to time and try to stir the pot. It's not because they're fooling around with us as friends. It's because they're a part of the same community composed of all of the same assholes that most people of this forum instantly recognize and would prefer not to see here because of their trolling nature and their past actions.

I don't see the reason for suddenly dropping it and opening our arms for beebad to come back (Something I doubt he even wants to do) just for the sake of knocking out the lead reason that a lot of people aren't into this radio show.

The issue is not who has said the most or done the most, maybe you are doing more harm now by not letting it go, then he ever did?

This reminds me of the bloods and the hoods, when is it going to stop?

Lots of stuff comes to my mind. One thing I might rather enjoy would be if MTM dumped him, and I started listening to MTM radio more regularly.

I can say with 100% certainty I never deleted someone's post to win an internet argument, edited someone else's post to win an internet argument, or stalked someone using moderator access to the registration database to get their information.

That's something, anyway.
 
The show supports Georgia Tech football, the players and coaches. Many of them have already appeared on the show. If you choose to not support Georgia Tech football due to some silly internet nonsense that happened months ago and you can't let go of then that is your choice.

Double B is part owner of the show so he will not be leaving or dumped or anything of that nature. He like the rest of us is in this show for the long haul. That won't change.
