refrigeratormover maybe I can answer your question. When Adamm and I were discussing Double B's participation on the show we considered a lot of information.

What stood out was that his message board BBuzzOFF has a lot of great members there, there's players, ex-players, family members and other people close to the program that enjoy that board as well as hundreds of other wonderful Tech fans. There's also a lot of people from this board and hive that participate as well. I've met a lot of super people who are members of that board.

You are who your friends are and he has surrounded himself on his board with a lot of upbeat, positive, impressive people. We also understood that any high profile, opinionated individual is going to have critics. But with Double B the positive, upbeat people he has surrounded himself far out number the detractors. In the final analysis it was an easy decision to have him join us.

Something noone can dispute is that Double B is without a doubt the most talked about, most well-known online celebrity in the Georgia Tech online community bar none. Whenever his name comes up on these boards it automatically becomes one of the most highly viewed, highly talked about topics on that board.

So it is in fact about him, not about GT? Makes sense doesn't it. You talk in circles.

Questioning Adamm is unfair, Adamm has been on here many times over the past few months to discuss the show and answer all questions. Why didn't you ask him your questions one of those many times he posted here?

I have asked him questions I have yet to hear a response about.

BarrelORum as I mentioned to refrigeratormover what Adamm and I see are hundreds and hundreds of positive, impressive, upbeat people that are friends and supporters of Double B including many people that are members here and a very small but vocal group who are critics.

People gravitate to an individual who is so positive.

All highly popular celebrities in talk radio/blogs have a lot of detractors and enemies. Everytime someone utters a negative about Double B it increases his fan base and his celebrity. That is the nature of the talk show business. As fans lets all be grateful to him for using that celebrity to promote Georgia Tech football.
All of this is to prop up your business, not to unite the fan base. You have not seen the things that this guy did over 5 years...in fact, he only cleaned up his act when he figured he could make money off of it.

Lay off your own high horse. Every time I read your posts it drives me further away from listening to that show. You may appeal to a small group of folks, but your antagonistic messages only alienate more people.

You're strategy is the Paris Hilton/Brittany Spears form of publicity (creating outrageous situations) is the way to make a name for yourself, and it is a decent way to drum up interest initially; however, it hurts in the long haul as you turn a ton of people off, especially Tech fans. What you fail to understand is that alot of Tech fans don't like "celebrity", they like real people that are supporters of the program, not people out to build "celebrity" and make a buck.

I always liked Adamm Oliver because he left it on the field, but you guys are being a-holes on these message boards and you're inviting it on yourself. Stop being so antagonistic and maybe more people will listen to your show. If your strategy is to keep these discussions going to get more exposure, then it may work but it also turns a bunch of people off.

That is okay you wouldn't like our show anyways 'cause it is of a cerebral nature and not a juvenile, name calling, Jerry Springer type broadcast. Regardless of age our show appeals to a more mature audience.

That's a good way to describe the board that your partner has run for 5 years - juvenile and name calling. I'm not putting you in the "cerebral" camp just yet, IrishE.

Wait until the tide turns. You'll see the true face of it when we have a bad season.

You really are delusional. But your image of beebad being the Dalai Lama of Tech fans with this religious following with the purpose of uniting the fan base is absolutely hilarious.

Spew your ignorant bull**** elsewhere. You're not going to convince anybody that beebad is only "opposed" by a small number of people just because you keep repeating it over and over again.

At that point, they'll be painting him as "The Tech Realist who isn't afraid to tell it like it is! What will he say this week? Whose children will be spared! Tune in to Meet the Machine to hear B-Squared set the Tech world on it's ear and cure a leper!"

I really liked Adamm for what he did on the field week in and week out. (I also liked him for making out with one of my fraternity brother's sister at a party...besides the point)

Now, I wasn't around for the initial fall out, however I do respect the opinion of most people on this board. It tends to be pretty clear when someone is talking out of their ass to make their point. Irishe, if you wish to have more people listen to your show, maybe you should allow people their opinions and not call everyone out that disagrees with how you run your show. I do listen from time to time, because I wasn't a part of the double B debate. However, calling people out only lowers your standing, and unfortunately lowers peoples opinion of you, the show, and unfairly, a former player that a lot of people really like and respect.

So in short, SHUT THE F*** UP.

To tell you the truth we aren't interested in fans who routinely use name calling and profanity. That doesn't represent Georgia Tech well. We're appealing to the classy Georgia Tech fans who enjoy discussing the program and hearing from the players, ex-players, coaches, and other fans. We aren't in this for the money if we were we'd do a radio show for a team that has a huge fan base like a pro team. Adamm, Double B, 33jacket and myself are doing this show out of a love for Georgia Tech football. If you don't wish to listen then please don't. Our success isn't measured by the number of listeners but by the enjoyment derived by those who do.

To tell you the truth you don't seem to have a clue in the world what it is you actually want or what you're aiming for.

If you don't wish to listen then please don't. Our success isn't measured by the number of listeners but by the enjoyment dereived by those who do.

If you don't care to gain listeners who don't listen because of your poor choice in a co-owner then stop trying to convince people that he's the messiah.

Congratulations, you've already aligned yourself with people who do that.

You should get into M&A when you're done, your due diligence skills are top notch.

And another thing - you're the pot calling the kettle black. You have no problem inferring that people here aren't "classy".

The hoards of positive posters typically overloaded his servers after a big win. I can't tell you how many times his board shut down after victories.

Wait a minute, are we talking about beebad? If you're talking about positive people who don't use profanity or name calling you can't be talking about beebad so maybe I'm just confused?
