I'm work in Athens and I hear that people are holding their breath on this. If true and UGAY settles with the family to keep it hush hush then that's indicative of the factory machine itself. They have tons of $$, influence, etc. I've heard some other details that could be very damning to the school as well opening it up to potential lawsuits.
 
The unfortunate reality is these players were likely seen as potential windfalls for their entire families as such they’ll likely sue the school/team since a school employee was driving while he was killed and the other highly sought after players were severely injured.

They have already said the car was leased from Enterprise.........

I anticipate questions about what recruiting staffers are staffing at that late hour.

There is a Waffle House on Barnett Shoals Road about a mile from the wreck that is in the direction the vehicle was traveling.

Take it from me, you can't imagine the magnitude of this loss---and it lasts forever. The driver was a UGA employee perhaps conducting official business using a company vehicle. There are a few instances of negligence cited in the report. This isn't going away.

been in Court for 44 iyrs and seems to me ....money is fixing to drop from the sky......................

lol. Someone alluded to it. Not only was the car rented by UGA but students may have been driving it that weren’t sanctioned to drive it. I’m sure the details will come out eventually

Turn off Java in your browser and you can read it just fine.

TL;DR: They were at Toppers, a strip club, until 2 in the morning. There are questions about inappropriate relationships between staff and players.
