There is not a lot that a marginal increase in coaching skills for this next head coach is going to do to improve our won/lost record if we don't recruit more and better athletes. Our recruiters have done more in these past two years than any recruiters ever have in possibly the entire history of GT athletics. We need to get the horses in here to run the race.

We can not afford, at this time, to make a "safe" hire. We need to make a stirke to the gut.

PJ is a good coach, but I don't think he would have the kind of impact we need right now.

Edsall, maybe. I think he brings more fire to the table.

WM or Hatcher would both be killer.

And for people saying, "why not just give it to JT if we want to hire a DC." Well, we are not hiring a DC, we are hiring a HC. Maybe JT could do it, but for years he has given the impression that he would not want to do the things necessary to be a HC.

I trust DRad.

Wesley, the 21 is your age righ? Seriously, just let it go. DRad will make the decision he and the committee believe is the best one. If it's Muschamp I'm fine with it. In fact, I think it would be hilarious if he beat ugag. And 1gtfan, to suggest anyone makes a hire like this because someone is his "buddy" suggests you're pretty young too. This isn't a one man decision boys.
