If not for the 2 year deal, I would think Woody got a raw deal at GT. It was widely known that Woody's system would take over a year to fully implement and CPJ had already been thinking of retirement. It is almost as if we treated Woody as a ($600k) placeholder. I didn't expect him to be retained because of the switch to 4 man line and am glad he found a job this quick. He is a nice person.
Almost? He got a raw deal. The only way this makes sense for him is if he's more focused on not moving again for family reasons. It's unfortunate, but surely he knew what type of situation he was walking into here.If not for the 2 year deal, I would think Woody got a raw deal at GT. It is collateral damage, but he did get paid well. I was surprised he wasn't snapped up quickly by someone with all the coaching changes that occurred. Maybe it is an indication of where he stands relative to the industry as a whole. I wish him well.Almost? He got a raw deal. Nate Woody has been at three different schools in the last 19 years. Some people hate moving.
I saw zero % improvement throughout Year 1 under Woody. Not a shock at all he got stuck at G State.

He gets whatever GT owed him which was like $500,000. I think GT just pays him less what GSU is paying him which is probably not much.He will still get paid more than most of the board. He'll be alright.

Worst performance against Georgia that I’ve ever seen from a Georgia Tech team. Ever.
