Don’t understand the obsession with the triple option on here. It’s a garbage offense that only the service academies use. There is a reason for that.

Last time I checked, people are free to like an antiquated offense if they want to. Nothing you can do about it, sorry.

Air Force runs the 3O.

Air Force runs it out of shotgun I believe. They didn't rely on cut blocks as much so they didn't have to do much in the way of adjustments when the new rule came down.

Monken has sent his longtime OC Brent Davis and his slotbacks coach packing. He's bringing in someone from Nebraska-Kearney to run the offense.
Davis is a good guy and a good coach. He and Bohannon were on PJ's staff at Southern, so I wonder if Bohannon will make him OC at Kennesaw.

Air Force doesn't run the offense out of shotgun anymore than Army or Navy does. And they cut just as much as Georgia Tech did when Paul Johnson was here.

Oh wow, shows you what I know. I haven't seen the academies in awhile. I just assumed it was was status quo over there like always. Oops!
