So … what one area of the team if we were just average, the Jackets would be 6-1 right now? With all the weeping and gnashing of teeth, we are a couple of decent def lineman from being 6-1 right now, tied for 1st in the conference, and putting way more fannies in the stadium. Am I wrong?

The lack of talent on defense reminds me of my golf game.

There is NOBODY of consequence playing defense for GT.

The offense is a bright spot, but today’s loss was squarely on the shoulders of our QB. He played like a garbage truck turd today.

Playmakers on both sides of the ball. King can make things happen with his legs, but his arm was awful today. We should have better running backs, with our top back being a converted WR.

The defense has no consistent playmakers. We did lose a lot at LB so I can understand the drop off at that position, but there appears to be no one stepping up on the field and leading our defense.

I’m watching Duke - DUKE! - rush 3 and pressure FSU’s QB every play. We gave BC’s ööööing midget QB all day to throw. How can we be significantly worse than Duke in talent and/or coaching?

Good teams make big plays. We took the lead and had a WR drop the ball on a deep pass on the next drive. That would have been a chance to grow on the lead and build momentum. CBK was shown after that saying F***.

We aren’t as bad as we were these last few years, but until we make those plays to put pressure on the other team..we are just a better team. Not much to celebrate on being a better team, especially after these last two home loses.
