Jesus, the team isn't leaving until tonight, arriving in the AM. Most probably won't sleep well on the flight, then have to check in to hotel, eat lunch and practice. After that it's nothing but eating, entertainment and sight seeing on a bus tour. I hope we're ready come Saturday...
EDIT: BC is already there...
Now if I could only figure out how to Big Cry my own post to deprive the rest of you guys the pleasure.
Yeah they may be fine as far as "adjusted to the time zone." But will they be prepared to play football? I think they probably will, but just in case we lose, I'm already claiming the "we waited to late to travel" excuse.I was just over in the UK last year. You adjust by day 3. Which is Saturday for the guys.
Arriving Thursday morning and having a noon practice sounds like hell. I'm sure they'll sleep like babies Thursday night, will rest all day Friday, and have another night on Friday to get on UK time. By Saturday morning they'll be fine.
@JacketFan77 , is that you?Jet lag going to Europe is negligible. Unrustle your jimmies, ööös.
Fall camp seems to have gone well. We aren't taking a cargo plane. So now jet lag/rest/when BC arrived is the new butt hurt. Butt hurt is an intrinsic property of GT fans.
Purdue is buying their own personal cargo plane, I hear.
Man you guys are a bunch of freakin' babies. It is simple to get 3-4 hours of sleep on the flight. They'll have their adrenaline pumping when they hit the ground over there, get a good workout in, go to bed and get a solid night's sleep. Out and about early Friday, and they are locked in.
Piece 'o Cake.
