Next Priority

Wasn't referring to this board. I love ST....seems like everyone is very level headed for the most part and seem pretty knowledgable about Xs and Os, etc. I get it Zach won't be everyone's flavor. We take no offense to any of it or take it personal. It's the nature of the position, we get it. I just find it comical when it comes from certain people.

And I have nothing personal against Jmonty, I really don't, but I just felt compelled to question him on his philosophy and how he "teaches" the QB position. Not very many elite QB coaches that way anymore. The QB position is evolving every year. Actually we are in the works of getting some sessions setup with Tom House, super excited to get him to apply his technology and knowledge transferred to Zach.
It isn't about a flavor. Listen, Zach will have challenges. I think he could work better in a non RPO system, personally. But, not my call. I am merely expressing the mistakes I see. I am sure they are being worked on. I also understand it's hard to complete pass progression and address a ball, when you have .5 seconds before being sacked. Do I think Wienke is the best thing, since sliced bread? No. Do I think Key will be a .500 head coach? Yes. Both are more than welcome to prove me wrong. I am 100% positive that the work will be put in and we'll see better results. Those results may not equal wins, but football is more than just one position. With that I will say Go Jackets and end this conversation.

He was being an ass. Nothing more, nothing less. I express an opinion and I get flak. I am not a P5 coach. I don't have to be, to have an opinion. I can merely say his son sucks and move on, if that is what is best.
Looks like somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning at your mom's house. It was me. I ööööed your mom!

My uncle, a GT graduate, was a Marine lieutenant at Okinawa in WWII. He was awarded a bronze star w/V device for his heroism saving his squad there. His memoirs mention several of his friends dying in that battle. He would have *never* talked this way to anyone while flaunting his heroism. In fact, I didn't even know about the bronze star until after he passed. IMPO, this response is totally uncalled for, and it threatens to denigrate your service record. I deeply appreciate and am grateful for your service. FWIW, I would encourage you to reconsider how you reference it in the future.

Tell your uncle I said Semper Fi.

He's gone now, but when I see him in heaven I will try to remember. Ha! Thank you for the sentiment. If I ever meet you, I'll have to tell you a story. It's better in person.
