According to a Clemson friend of mine, the Tiger D this year was, as usual, great, but they didn't have a QB whom they could depend on. He says they already have either a 5-star QB commit, or are heavily going after one

Dabo hasn’t taken a transfer in like 6 years. If he sticks with that strategy it will be hard to compete for national championships in the transfer portal era. If he is willing to take transfers he’d probably have the pick of the litter as far as QBs go. Could fortify his OL too.

As it turns out, they gave the cesspool their best game , and in their current state, would probably wax Pitt if WF had stubbed their toe sat

9-3; 6-0 at home; won 5 straight to end the regular season. Mediocre? We would have kept the entire staff with half as good a season.

Which is shocking because DJ looked fine if not great in his limited PT last season.
