No headline for you whiney

How, after 3 full years do we have a slice of Swiss cheese for an offensive line?

Ralph Freidgen could not run an offense with this OL.
"Only four on the line, including walk-on William Lay, have starting experience – two-year starter Jordan Williams (18 starts), Paula Vaipulu (five), Lay (14) and Paul Tchio (one start at Clemson."

“When former Memphis defensive lineman Morris Joseph committed to Tech last week out of the transfer portal, he raised the team’s count of scholarship recipients (including incoming freshmen and transfers like him) to 75. That’s 10 shy of the 85-player limit, the largest number of open spots of any team in the ACC.”

Based on our o-line play - I fail to see this as a negative.

You also have to factor in that we generally lose 3-5 players between the end of spring practice and the end of school.

Some people would have you believe the exodus from our recruiting class was us pulling offers, but we're 10 scholarships short and that's ööööing terrible. Unacceptable from a guy whose calling card is recruiting and roster management. Fire Todd, Cabrera, and Collins. ööööing hell.
Don't stop there.

You think we are going to pull 10 more guys worth a damn from the portal before fall camp?
I think you have a better shot at pulling 10 "worth a damn and might be ready to play" guys from the portal before fall camp than you would have had we signed 10 HS seniors.

Look at 2018 & 2019 OL recruiting.

1) We recruited undersized and, unfortunately, OL that hasn’t been able crack the 2-deep

2) No OL in 2019

3) Medical hardships on the guys actually taken

That excuse is dated like an old carton a milk. This is season 4 of this coaching regime, and with a magic portal to still be talking about what was recruited in 2018 is increasingly sad.

Are you arguing that we are smarter than every other coaching staff in the ACC by keeping 10 slots open going into fall? If we were holding 3-4 slots open maybe I would believe you.
