No Lucky Charms in Ireland?

I don't get why the team has to eat such Americanized food while they're over there. Specifically complaining about the type of bacon etc...

Expose yourself to a different culture. Don't just eat the same American shit ou could eat at WaHo any ööööing day of the week.

I agree except that these picky little millenials might not like something, so they don't eat it and then they go out and lose because they weren't well-nourished. And if they lose that makes my day bad, so let's give them all the pig belly they can get.

I would agree if you were a fan/visitor, but I'm sure these guys have their pre-game routines that include a certain meal. Last thing you'd want is to be undernourished or have the runs at halftime...

For the fans - eat local, live a little. If all you wanted was a USA experience you should have stayed home.

For the GT players - eat as close to normal as possible, pregame. No one wants them to have the shits on gameday.

The BC players can have cabbage. Lots and lots of cabbage.

We are talking about college football players who like what they like and eat what they like and most are on a certain nutrition plan.

Ireland isnt some third world country where you can't drink the water. Worried about food poisoning from eating the local food is dumb. Many of these kids may never leave the country again. Let them experience Ireland.

Stop infantilizing them. "But they're just little college footballers. They need to eat their Wheaties or we may lose a game".

And then half the team gets diarrhea at kickoff. You obviously know your shit, let's make you the new AD.

Irish food is Sticky Smelly Nasty.

Some of you must not be familiar with American culture and how it's demonstrated overseas. See Americans love traveling and seeing new place they haven't invaded yet but there's one thing that they will rarely öööö with, and that's the local cuisine and the local sports. But other than that I don't have enough knowledge to decide the nutrition plan for the whole football team and saying let them experience the culture and eat potatoes is dumb right before a game. As stupid as it sounds these kids would probably not eat the Irish fried chicken or the Canadian bacon or the unlucky charms or it may öööö with their digestive systems. No need to mess with it. They can experiment with it after the game.

I'd agree if the game was in Turkey. I wouldn't let them leave the ööööing hotel.

But they're not going to get food poison in Ireland. They'll kill any bacteria with all the alcohol anyways.
