No Lucky Charms in Ireland?

I'd agree if the game was in Turkey. I wouldn't let them leave the ööööing hotel.

But they're not going to get food poison in Ireland. They'll kill any bacteria with all the alcohol anyways.

alright Beej.

Just so you know I had American friends go to Germany, France and England before and lose 10 lbs in a week from their digestive systems not being used to their type of food. One girl I know kept throwing up everyday for a whole month while at GT Lorraine. Another one who went to Germany had digestive problems. Y'all have sensitive stomachs. So diseqc, I'm sorry but you have no ööööing idea what you're talking about.

You'd have a point if they weren't showing up at the last minute, MBob's goodbye present. When you are only spending two days on the ground and then playing, keep your diet as close to normal.

Sounds like you hang out with a bunch of emo pussies.

Some guy said:
Well, you can’t get Lucky Charms in Ireland -- many of the cereals we eat stateside aren’t sold in the European Union because they’re too sugary

These guys surely eat 2000 calories at breakfast. I'm sure they can eat all the thinly sliced irish salty meats they can stand and would still like a bowl of cereal.

I was traveling international once a month for 18 months and can confirm Akinj knows what he's talking about. Abrupt changes in diets can cause issues for some people without instances of food poisoning.

I'm all for enjoying local flavor, but my teenagers would not eat this traditional Irish breakfast:

I don't get why the team has to eat such Americanized food while they're over there. Specifically complaining about the type of bacon etc...

Expose yourself to a different culture. Don't just eat the same American öööö ou could eat at WaHo any ööööing day of the week.

Why u mad tho?

Justin Thomas hasn't seen very much.

Don't know wtf you people are talking about. I've visited France, Italy, England, and Spain (where I stayed 2.5 months), and I never had a single dietary/digestive woe, despite eating plenty of local cuisine. The Spain trip was a study abroad, so I went with some ~30-40 other Americans, and I didn't hear about any of them having any problems either. Seems like you'd have to be awfully delicate to be vomiting or getting the shits on European food.

Now that doesn't mean I think the players should feel obligated to eat local food. I don't really care. I'm just saying worrying about getting sick on food in Ireland of all places seems like an overabundance of caution.

No way. Akinji knew this chick that got sick once in a completely different country.

Obviously the team nutritionist and coaches agree with what I'm saying so you're just a moron who wants to risk the team based on your opinion of whether it's a third world country and one guy who's saying he never had any problems. Good logic.
