O’Leary reaction to Key

That's funny, because she told me you were pretty lacking. I remember because she compared you to Geoff Collins and I felt that seemed a little harsh.
You obviously misunderstood her when she said it was an effort based boning performed at an elite level

... in a time when the UGA program was adrift under Donnan.

Yes, he did do that, and he would have beaten them more, but not sure he'd have done the 3 IAR thing after Richt took over.

Bad take. UGA wasn't adrift, they struggled with the Spurrier/Fulmer juggernaut. The 2002 debacle never happens with GOL. öööö, with Gailey we were *one play* or one blown call away from beating them TIAR 2004-2006, Richt's glory years.

When O’Leary was GT’s coach the mutt was 31-24-1 in conference. They did more then just struggle against a few SEC teams. They lost almost half their games.

Kinda the same as they did/have done under Rev Richt and Kirby, you know. Basically the same.

I'm seeing 33-23 with 25-15 under Donnan. Donnan was 4-12 against UF, UT, and Auburn and 21-3 against the rest of the league.

Coach Curry used to sit down and go over the games with Coach Dodd on Sundays too.

History doesn't repeat itself, but it sure does rhyme.

Sure, but my vague memory is that Collins got the job because he was an O'Leary guy. O'Leary may have played a part in him being hired. I'd rather we hire someone that Paul Johnson endorses next time.
Most of this was taking big credit for that one recruiting class in 2007.
