Lol thanks for proving my point... look few played in all 10 and look how few started all 10.

You can’t be serious. Dude, stick to copypasta from Kelly to continue your charade of looking like you know what you’re talking about on Stingtalk.
Can't be serious? We had TWO guys start all 10 games in the secondary in 2020. That's not normal. I don't know what kind of fantasy land you live in that you think it is. One of our top corners only played in 6 games, another in 8. Charlie Thomas who played in all 10 split duties that year between LB and DB. Of our two best nickels, one played in 8 games one in 9. Almost all of those inconsistencies were because of Covid. I didnt say we had guys out half the year. I said we had multiple different guus missing time at different points in the year and that played a major factor in our miscommunication that year. Again like I said, hindsight after seeing last year have the same struggles maybe it was more to do with the coaches back there but nobody could legitimately make that judgement after 2020 with having to play so many different groupings. And as far as parroting, I'm not parroting anybody. I make my own observations on what I see and what I hear from many different people throughout the GT organization. You dont have to take my word on anything but maybe take a listen to one of our players Jaylon King describing the communication issues and why he thinks it is better now.

GoGATech is a Gooff Collins lover/apologist.
Couldn't be farther from the truth. I'm a GT lover that wants us to succeed. I just think he deserves this coming season to show a turnaround. Another disappointing year and it's time for him to go.

Your love for Collins blinds you. To assert that Covid affected us more than anyone else is absurd. We played 10 games, punked out on Miami. Our coach is not a coach at all. He is a salesman and TS was his biggest sell, to the detriment of all true GT fans. Will be glad when they are both gone.

@GoGATech is not a huge cheerleader of Gef as much as he’s just a GT optimist. And, yes, it is fair to say that a new coach in the beginning stage of a complete renovation of a football program would be affected more by Covid than established coaches with established systems. The hail storm hit us while we had the engine pulled. Established coaches were able to park the car in the garage for a bit until the storm passed.

That said, Gef had had sufficient time to put the motor in and do something more than 3 wins and a string of embarrassments.

Can y’all just settle this with a Dungeons & Dragons match in your moms basement like respectable tech fans? Instead of clogging up a fall camp article with your baby bitching back and forth?

Thank you. I agree last year we should have seen improvement. We didn't and changes were made. The staff he has built around him IMO is much better than it was in the previous 3 years. I hope they are able to pull it together and right the ship this year because his shortcomings the first 3 are going to be too much to overcome if we only see slight improvement.

Collins apologists are replete with reasons why he sux. Covid just being one of them. If it wasn't that, it would be something else. Doesn't change that he is not a good football coach.

you mean when collins is gone idk about Tstan

Lot of full diapers in this practice thread. Crying and öööö everywhere

Been too involved with the offense and trying to be more of a "CEO" type coach. That's what. He hasn't been heavily involved in the defense.

How many times did Geoff say he was getting more involved in the defense last year? How many times did others say he was more involved in the defense last year? Either they lied about his involvement or we got worse with it.
