He is just not elusive enough, fast enough, or strong enough to keep the ball and get long runs.

WOW, a rushing TD and a passing TD in 2 consecutive games.......he may not unseat Josh, but I'm not worried when he's in there. He's getting the job done.

Jaybo did a nice job filling in for Josh, but Josh clearly deserves the nod when healthy.

edited.... responsible for 4 TD's in 2 games, not to mention the TD he got in the JSU game

Because one game makes a career.

You might want to hold off on this decision until a few more data points, for both quarterbacks, become available.

I felt like Jayboy hasn't lost the game for us...but Nesbitt has won games for us. I believe Nesbitt should get the nod too.

Jaybo has been good, but Nesbitt has the X-factor.

Josh gives us the homerun threat that was definetly lacking today in the 1st 3 quarters. Jaybo is definetly a key player on our roster and can fill in for Josh, but against Clemson, Ugag, N.C. and Fsu we will need Josh to beat them...We wore Duke down by the end of the 3rd quarter, but, no doubt we didn't do so well offensively before late in the 3rd...I think P.J. said so....

Kyle maybe should have worded his post better, but no doubt we need Josh Nesbitt...He will be a SERIOUS Heisman candidate before he graduates, if he can stay healthy.

Agreed about the eventual Heisman consideration, for the mere fact that the passing game as not yet been totally installed. Hes a dual threat who will give people fits over the next couple for years. Nesbitt for Heisman in 2010

That title for a post is childish and disrespectful for one of our student athletes that has done nothing but lay all out for the program.
He is a true freshman...and he is the backup QB....we threw for 230 and ran for 230...and won 27-0.

It does not take a rocket scientist to know that Nesbitt is the starter....but we are darn lucky to have Jaybo as the backup.

That subject line is just not fair to ONE OF OUR FAMILY.

It's not disrespectful. I never said Jaybo sucks. He runs our offensive well. He just is not a playmaker and more of a game manager.

This is the dumbest post I have ever read. You know absolutely nothing about what you write.

A true freshman starts his first game. He makes his reads. He gets hit hard. He goes 9-14-0-1 for 230 yards passing and rushes for a touchdown where he gets hit in the mouth. Your point is incorrect and irrelevant and completely annoying.

Your response has nothing to do with what I wrote.
