Obvious now that Jaybo is major step down from Josh

Guys Jaybo played great today but the orginal poster is correct. I am glad that Jaybo is getting snaps and he is a great backup and makes me feel alot easier if Nesbitt gets hurt again.

You obviously don't know what tool means.
Let's assume he means definition #7 from the urban dictionary:
A person, typically male, who says or does things that cause you to give them a 'what-are-you-even-doing-here' look. The 'what-are-you-even-doing-here' look is classified by a glare in the tool's direction and is usually accompanied by muttering of how big of a tool they are. The tool is usually someone who is unwelcome but no one has the balls to tell them to get lost. The tool is alwasys making comments that are out-of-place, out-of-line or just plain stupid. The tool is always trying too hard to fit in, and because of this, never will. However, the tool is useful because you can use them for things; money, rides, ect.
Where BOR may be mistaken is that several people on here have in fact had the balls to tell you to piss off. Also, your relative usefulness might be questionable, aside from a good laugh. ;)

Thanks prism for the clarification, obviously I used the word "tool" incorrectly.

I should have used the word "douche bag". That would clearly define GTKyle.

Jaybo is more than a serviceable backup. It is refreshing to have a coach who not only believe in their 2nd guy but talks well of them and coaches them vs saying they are not even in the same league. That being said Josh is the guy. I am glad we have more than 1 QB and it is not a problem.

What goober comment.
He is a "step down" in the total package at this time, but he IS NOT a major step down.
I'm proud that he's at GT and has the experience to let this ofense perform close to the level that JN brings to the game.

how can we get this thread removed because this topic is just rude as stated earlier this is simply disrespectful to be say about one of our student athletes.. you may say "i wasn't being rude i was just saying he isn't as good as josh" but this kid has stepped up and played his heart out two games in a row

Kyle is right, and Paul Johnson would agree with him. Read Johnson's book on TO football, and you will understand why.

We completely went away from Johnson's offense in the second half, and the reason was because Jaybo could not run it.

The defense kept Duke's defense on the field. Duke lacks depth, and gave out in the fourth quarter. Our coach was smart enough to take what Duke was giving us, while also taking decision making out of Jaybo's hands. Taking the decisions out of the QB's hands is NOT what this offense is about.

BOR, fridgemover, and other "big names" on this board prove in this thread that they do not understand this offense.

Jaybo is a freshman, and he will get better. However, this game showed that he does not have the athleticism to be a star in this offense. I question whether or not he will ever be a full time starter. Frankly, I hope not. We need another Nesbitt in this recruiting class.

Geez... Kyle writes some dumb crap sometimes but DANG!!! I feel bad for the guy... I didn't think he was trying to tear down Jaybo. Just that it's clear that Nesbitt is the best man for the job.

Kyle, it's all in the wording.

Luallen is going to be a good one for us.

He is just not elusive enough, fast enough, or strong enough to keep the ball and get long runs.

Gotta agree with the others here - calling our backup QB a "major step down" in a public forum like this is inappropriate. Jaybo went out and did a fine job executing the simplified game plan that his coach gave him. Good on Jaybo (and good on Coach Johnson for putting his QB in a situation to succeed). He led his team to consecutive victories against BCS conf teams and gave his teammate valuable time to heal up. He deserves praise, not second guessing, right now.

I know. I lack tact.

GT Kyle

I got an idea....go to Paul Johnson and tell him your post word for word in the title and body.

Better yet....go to the locker room and make the statement.

I would be willing to bet my bank account that you would not have the nads to do it. You hide behind a computer.

I respectfully disagree JU. Per CPJ in the post game show, "I simplified the reads in the first quarter because Jaybo was so nervous. As we ran the option they went man on the outside. Jaybo was able to take advantage of Thomas's talent on the outside."

CPJ didn't change a thing. He ran his gameplan. What did you see that was "away from his offense?"
