official 2009/ 2010 recruiting thread

I love Georgia Tech and their fans, students and alumni. But some times, we just have a tendency to use our intelligence in the wrong way.

Living in Maryland, the thing I miss the most is the southern charm of Atlanta. That used to mean that if someone asked me to keep something to myself, that I did.

Today, we are arguing whether its illegal or not to give out the information. Atlanta really is becoming a bastion of northern liberals.
 
This is kind of like the argument: "Well, I bought Windows XP for my laptop, so I should be able to use it on the other 5 computers in my house AND give it to all of my neighbors because I PAID for it and it's MINE!!!"

Both are ridiculous arguments. By the way, I'm not a subscriber, I just agree with GTLand on this one, and it's been discussed plenty of times in the past.

These bozos complaining that they should be able to post premium content and/or that the content isn't worth it are being douchebags. It's part of the territory I guess.

Could this thread go back to being about recruiting information? Clearly Eric and Matt agree now on what should and shouldn't be posted. Like midatl said, gentleman's agreements should be respected.

Now with all that said, I think we hear some good news soon because I saw a recruit on campus today with one of the coaches showing his mother around.

anybody know much about Synjyn Days? dual threat qb out of powder springs.
 
Can anyone tell me if I am correct as far as how this looks?

As of now, four spots available:

QB--1. White 2. ?
LB--1a. Luc 1b. Cornileus 2. Smelter (MLB-bound)
DE--1. Williams 2. Anderson
DT--1. Greene 2. ?

I may be missing some, just curious?
 
Is Smelter really a LB in college rankings? Have seen him play here in Macon -- and I think a) MLB is where he will go and b) Safety is more appropriate for him than LB? Don't think he has the size needed for LB, at least when I saw him play last year.
