It was a scrappy tight game as it had been all game. We were gonna have the ball just near midfield with a chance to take the lead. Instead we were forced into a terrible yardage situation flipping the field and then having multiple bad calls and holds made against us were they had long drive and bailed out several times during it and scored. This 100% was a momentum shift in tight games shit like this can change a game you just dont expect it to be shit like that over and over again.

Yep. Should have had very good field position. Then we managed to overcome it and get a stop, only for the refs to make another dogshit call. Everyone has their breaking point, and when you're playing in a monsoon in Alabama two days after Christmas against Vandy and their 53-year-old QB who just sued the NCAA with the help of the AARP, that breaking point comes sooner than usual.

After having the atrocities of the UGA game officiating. It's understandable and human, but it's also not the resilience needed to take the next step as a program.

Losing to UGA like we did takes a toll. This was a bad performance today, reminds me of the ‘71 Peach Bowl against Ole Miss, a miserable game I was working at Atlanta Fulton County Stadium as a high school junior. We need to have a major reset to get our minds right this offseason. Blowing the Georgia game and getting blown out by Vandy is an awful end to the season.

No doubt. No one on our side covered themselves in glory today. I think anyone who believes this is a huge black eye on the program is overreacting, though. Nothing about this game should change our expectations for next season and beyond.

Really hate that fumble on Malik. We were gashing them and Jamal and Malik were playing their asses off. Just tried to do too much. Probably also what happened on King’s INT.

The no-calls and wrong calls were innumerable. Can’t blame the team for losing their cool against a very chippy bitch-ass Vandy team when the refs aren’t calling the game fairly.

All the same folks here upset about Key getting fired up are probably the same folks upset that Stoudamire never gets fired up.

Key got fired up after 3-4 absolutely egregious calls (/no calls) in a 10 minute span. 2 of them even the TV commentators (one of who is a mutt) commented on how bad they were. If ever there's a time to get fired up and get a penalty, I think that's it.

You'll never convince me that these refs didn't use their flags to punish Key after he cussed out the the refs. They completely took over the game after that.
Definitely possible. Part of learning to work the refs is not to piss them off. Another thing Key needs to work on.

Not saying it's right necessarily but refs are human too and the goal is to bias them towards you, not against you.

Good lord. Board full of pussies. Shit happens, emotional game when the refs lost control.

No reason to panic. Build in the offseason and continue to move forward. Recruit like you’re the team that kicked Miami’s ass. This is 2-3 year build and we’re moving the right direction. Relax. Dont become a part of sending this backward.

I for one love the fight. Just have to remember what that fight does to 20 year old composure. Live and learn.

I'm watching videos of bad calls over the years I have saved and these are bad, but not the worst not even close.
