I don’t think they coach them to false start. Total mental lapse by the player there. He knows better.

False starting on a FG attempt isn’t a coaching issue. It’s a focus issue on the player.

When you combine that focus issue with the unsportsmanlike penalty after the safety, the hit to the face after a Miami run, and all the other bad penalties we've taken in other games (there was one drive where we had three unsportsmanlike penalties), there's a team-wide focus issue. And I'd consider that a product of coaching.
