defense played their butts off for 4 quarters

I thought we’d have to hold Clemson to 17 to win. Turns out that number was 9.

Defense had a couple guys get loose, but overall played a great game. Phenomenal coverage shutting down Renfroe.

Offense was bad in all facets; not even worth beginning to go down how mismatched it was. Venables is now the proud owner of 4 of our bottom 5 performances on offense.

Special teams looked decent on coverage, bad on returns, okay on placeholder kicking, and great punts.

I can think of two things:

1) There were three minutes left and we had three timeouts. With a 3-and-out we could have gotten the ball back with over two minutes left. But since we needed two scores that probably wasn't such a good idea.

2) He was supposed to pooch it past the first line but before the return man and he just kicked it too far.
