GT at NC State 2000 was my first college football game. Phillip Rivers had a comeback in OT after a Godsey TD to Watkins.

I was at the game. That was peak NC State obnoxiousness under Amato. Think Watkins dropped the tying TD in OT and one of the Holt brothers stood over him and taunted.

He’s definitely of the 90s early 2000s NFL mentality of feed them early and often and it starts paying off the last 20 minutes of the game...Not a ton of runners in that mold left
