Byerly is looking really good, and he looked better than thomas in the spring too. Will he start? Nah, probably not. But Justin's HEAD was NOT in this game. From the START. The 2nd quarter you could REALLY tell, playing without a lead he was just lost. Granted, he did run the option really well..but he made a LOT of mistakes. I saw a couple missed reads, and of course very freshman like mistakes throwing.

We most certainly should be in the lead. Right. Now. If not for the turnovers....

I just hope he doesn't shut down mentally and emotionally for the rest of the season like #2 did...

A lot of Byerly's production was vs an obvious prevent defense. But if JT makes boneheaded decisions in the passing game it's good to know we can bench him with confidence, and it's good for him to know it too.
